Kanye West Supports Former Dolphins Head Coach Brian Flores

Brian Flores is currently involved in a class-action lawsuit against the National Football League. Flores contends that several teams have practiced racial discrimination during their hiring process. The suit has sparked much debate over how the NFL handles sensitive racial issues.

Kanye West recently announced that he was launching Donda Sports. West was nonspecific about the details. We do know that Kanye named former NFL star Antonio Brown as president of the organization.

In an Instagram post this morning, Kanye appeared to reach out to Flores. Ye shared a collage of headlines about the embattled coach. West said a conversation with his father has convinced him to publicly support Brian Flores.

Even the least cynical fan understands that Kanye West almost always has an ulterior motive. It could be that he is putting out feelers to possibly have Donda Sports represent the coach in some way. It’s also possible that Kanye is showing support out of the kindness of his heart.

We will have to wait and see if Brian Flores reacts to Kanye West’s support. This could amount to a major deal with a high-profile former NFL head coach. It also might just be Kanye West showing support to another man who is also facing struggles in his life.
