Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have developed a friendship on and off the field since 2010. They are an iconic duo with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, with Brady retiring, it is clear that these two will no longer be taking to the field together.
Gronkowski has never caught passes from any other quarterback, and therefore, fans don’t want him to settle for anyone else. There have been too many rumors in connection with Gronk, with many pointing towards him calling it a career and this time for good.
Brady said on his “Let’s Go” podcast with former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and sports broadcaster Jim Gray “I don’t know. I certainly hope (he plays). I mean, I’ve watched him basically practice and play since he started in the NFL. He can certainly do it. It’s a big commitment for all of us. It’s a big commitment to keep playing. And I know when he’s willing to make that commitment he’s unstoppable out there as a player,”
Tom Brady spoke on his podcast that Gronk is his inspirational friend and he really wants Gronk to keep going. Brady knows that Gronk is talented and skillful, and he can still support a good team.
The duo has a longtime on-field bond, which will make it harder for Gronkowski to move on without Brady as his quarterback. But until now, it still seems like Gronk will do moving forward without Brady in the field.
