America’s Got Talent has seen a lot of wonderful and talented acts grace their stage. Now one popular performer is in some legal trouble in the Netherlands.
According to TMZ, AGT finalist Glennis Grace was arrested in her home country of the Netherlands. Her son is reportedly in the center of this issue.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Glennis, her 15-year-old son and another man in their party were arrested and booked on suspicion of assault this weekend after some sort of altercation in a supermarket.
Details are a bit sketchy at this juncture. All we know is that there is some sort of legal issue in this situation. Glennis’ son had interaction with staff before leaving. Then he returned the same day with his mother and another man. Cops say a violent confrontation followed.
Several people were reportedly injured in the melee. It was also stated that law enforcement will “pass their findings on to prosecutors to determine if anyone gets charged.”
Glennis’ attorney says, “The police investigation is still ongoing and we trust that it will show that Glennis has not committed any criminal offenses. We are now waiting for the investigation to be finished before making further announcements.”
Glennis was on AGT’s 13th season in 2018. Everyone in this situation has been released from custody.
