Kanye West has been going through a tough time in the middle of his divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Ye took his private familial matters to the public by constantly leaking private conversations with his ex-wife after their split.
Not only that, but he has also been taking shots at Kim’s current boyfriend, Pete Davidson, via social media. However, just a day ago, Chicago native rapper shared that he takes accountability for what his actions have done to his family matters, which should have remained private.
The Real Housewives of New York City, alum Bethenny Frankel came out to give her opinions on the Kanye-Kim situation in a recent episode of her podcast. She advised Kanye to stop his social media rants against Kim. She made the following statement on her podcast, “Just B with Bethenny Frankel.”
“My advice to Kanye would be: You have to stay the course. You cannot go rogue and take matters into your own hands when it comes to the divorce and custody process. It will only hurt you,”
Frankel, who herself has gone through an eight-year public divorce, added;
“Kanye, in particular, he’s talking into the court of public opinion instead of talking to the court of the custody of your children.”
Frankel also pointed out that Ye will only make it hard for himself, legally speaking, if he continues to take his private matters into the public. Frankel posted a clip of her podcast episode on her Instagram with caption:
“You cannot play to the court of public opinion and avoid the court of law,” “Custody & Divorce is a process (albeit a sometimes long and arduous one)….you cannot beat the system. You cannot PR your way out of it and judges do not like side shows & games.”
The former Bravo celebrity spoke about how Kanye’s divorce is a sensitive one given he has four children with Kim, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2. She continued her caption:
“Like a terrible storm or a personal loss, you simply must face challenges head on no matter how emotionally challenging that may be,” she wrote. “Faith, hope, patience, will and survival are the means to survive something so difficult. When dealing with children, the stakes are as high as possible. You cannot play games. Anything can happen in a court room.”
“He is clearly going through something emotional that supersedes reason and logic, but someone has to get through to him…it’s a serious matter from an emotional and custody standpoint.”
Kanye West has definitely a lot going on in his life right now with the upcoming release and performances for his new album. As of right now, Ye has deleted all his rant posts against his wife that he made on his Instagram account, which he mainly uses to promote Donda 2.
