Kanye West Denied Chain By Ben Baller Amid Kid Cudi Feud

Kanye West’s feud with Kid Cudi has been entertaining, to say the least, and now it’s affecting their mutual friends. Celebrity jeweler Ben Baller, who has made several chains for both artists over the years, is not pleased with Kanye’s attacks on Cudi.

TMZ caught up with Ben Baller on Tuesday, February 15, who tweeted and deleted his thoughts on Kanye’s weekend antics. According to Baller, Ye recently contacted him about making a dove chain, but he’s not in a hurry to fulfill that request.

“It’s nothing serious. I mean, he’s wanted a chain for a while. Actually, Cudi hit me up about it. I talk to Cudi almost every day. He was like, ‘Hey man, Kanye wants your phone number, he wants to get this chain done.’ Then [Kanye] had one of his employees reach out to me and then he had Justin LaBoy reach out to me. Then I ran into him the other day and I was kinda like, ‘I don’t know, I’m busy.’”

“I got no problem with him directly, but it’s he’s attacking our mutual friend. I’m close with Cudi and [Kanye’s] obviously close with him, so it’s just a weird situation. Cudi had no idea what he was talking about. He just got back from Paris, he’s just chilling and then Ye just immediately attacks him. I felt like, ‘Come on, that wasn’t cool.’”

Ben Baller later explained that he deleted his tweets about Kanye after the Chicago rap icon removed his Instagram posts aimed at Kid Cudi because he “wasn’t about to let Cudi start catching bullets for no reason,” especially since Cudi is “the nicest guy in the world.” Over the weekend, the renowned jeweler didn’t hold back when weighing in on the situation.

“I seen Kanye a few nights ago. ‘Oh when you gonna make me this dove chain?’ Never bitch! You even smell like coochie. Scott my bro for life.”

“Kanye a bitch. The cap? Cudi tried to get me to make @kanyewest a chain 2 years ago. Justin Laboy tried 2 months ago. I ain’t making no weak ass lame dove chain for that mental case. You dumbasses forget I was apart of Pastelle? Head of jewelry?”

Ben Baller, on the other hand, hasn’t completely ruled out making the dove chain for Kanye West, whom he wants to see stay off the internet and focus on being a good father.

“You know what? If him and Cudi get real good again … and Cud’s like, ‘Yo man, let’s get this chain going,’ then I’m in.”
