Matthew Stafford became a Super Bowl champ on Sunday after Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals at 23-20. Today on the streets of Los Angeles, Rams players joined thousands of fans to celebrate their victory parade.
As the Rams’ celebratory parade was going on, the NFL posted a clip of Matthew where he seemed to be enjoying himself with a beer in one and a cigar in another hand.
The newly retired quarterback, Tom Brady, took to Twitter to share a piece of advice for our champ:
“Mix in a water Matt… trust me,”
Brady quote tweeted the advice to a video of Stafford holding a beer and a cigar with his wife, Kelly.
Brady knows quite well about getting too drunk at the Super Bowl parade. The 44-year-old quarterback who last year won his seventh Super Bowl let himself loose during Tampa Bay’s boat parade. As a result, many clips of him appearing intoxicated later surfaced. He also darn near threw the Super Bowl trophy into the water. Yep, that happened and Brady later admitted that he was hammered.
Meanwhile, Stafford, though he is having the time of his life. He expressed his gratitude for fans, stating, “I’m damn happy to be standing up here with you guys, celebrating the ’ship,” “Let’s go, y’all!,” and then took the gulp from his bottle.
