Tom Cruise Shows Off Major Arm Muscles Before Hopping In Helicopter

Tom Cruise is one of the highest-paid actors in the world. There is a reason for that, and he also takes great care of his body. The gym at his Scientology Center must be dope.

The actor has repeatedly demonstrated that there is no stunt he cannot perform himself. The hunky action star recently flaunted his fit physique before boarding a helicopter to perform his own stunts in South Africa.

According to Hollywoodlife, on Wednesday, Tom attempted death-defying stunts in South Africa while filming the next installment of Mission Impossible. In a tight tee and jeans, the hunky action star flaunted his bulging biceps and toned physique before hopping in a helicopter to show off his aviation experience and bravery for Mission Impossible 8.

Fans are not surprised that Tom is handling his own stunt work, as he has done in the past, including Mission: Impossible 7, which is set to be released in 2022 and stars his rumoured now ex-girlfriend Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, and Vanessa Kirby. However, for the eighth chapter in the series, which is set to be released on July 22, 2023, Tom recently took it a step further by investing in flying lessons to deftly handle a Boeing Stearman plane for some action scenes.

At the time, Tom was spotted on the ground in a jumpsuit and helmet, providing a glimpse into how the action unfolds. Surrounded by the production crew, the actor was strapped into a harness that was attached to the wing of the Boeing Stearman biplane by a series of metal rods.

Tom may have felt the “need for speed” after completing Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to 1986’s smash hit Top Gun. The film, which is set to be released in May 2022, features Tom reprising his iconic role as Captain Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, as well as Val Kilmer reprising his role as Commander Tom “Iceman” Kazansky. Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, and Jennifer Connelly also appear in the film.
