Netflix Announces Premiere Date For Stranger Things Season 4

Stranger Things became a huge sensation when Netflix premiered the paranormal coming of age series debuted in July of 2016. The show was one of the first original Netflix series’ to break into the mainstream pop culture conversation. The show’s success helped convince Netflix to move into big-budget features. Two additional seasons have aired since, and fans have been waiting since 2019 to find out when season four is coming out.

Netflix has finally made that announcement. The streaming service revealed on Twitter that the fourth season will premiere on May 27, 2022. This season will be split into two volumes, with the second dropping on July 1.

“Stranger Things fans, at long last we can finally reveal when the new season will be premiering!!

Stranger Things 4 is coming to you in two parts: Volume 1 premieres May 27 & Volume 2 quickly follows on July 1.”

The fourth season of Stranger Things has been in the works for quite some time. The global COVID-19 pandemic slowed things down significantly in 2020. It looks like things are finally ready for a release.

Netflix dropped a trailer for the new season in September of last year. At the time, no release date was given. Stranger Things fans have been waiting for this moment for nearly three years. The time is finally here to head back to the upside-down!
