Fyre Festival Victim Waited Five Years For $280 Settlement Check

Fyre Festival is still remembered by many after 5 years as it was abhorrent for those who attended it. The total disastrous event was so outrageous to many that the organizer of the show, Billy McFarland, ended up being sued in a number of lawsuits.

A total of 277 ticketholders tried to get back their money in damages from what was clearly a scam. While their initial belief was that they’d get more than $7,000, they ended up with a mere amount of $280.
