Nicki Minaj Dragged By Philly Health Department Over Controversial Comments

Nicki Minaj is on the receiving end of a pretty hilarious Twitter burn, as her cousin’s friend’s swollen testicles are creating the rounds on the internet once more. Some people ridiculed it while others tried to correct her misconceptions.

On Wednesday Nicki tweeted, “Nothing like watching someone speak confidently about something they know nothing about.” That’s when it all started.

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health clearly felt in a definite way about the post, responding to Nicki with the eyes emoji and a screenshot of Nicki’s Sept. 2021 tweet, which read, “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”

Nicki got a lot of criticism for the tweet at the time, and even Dr. Fauci weighed in on the allegation, saying that if it did happen, it was a one-time occurrence that shouldn’t discourage people from getting vaccinated.

Minaj has yet to say whether or not she has received the vaccine. However, she was recently seen at a Lakers game, where guests are required to have either the shot or proof of a negative test.
