Chrissy Teigen suffered a tragic miscarriage in 2020. Teigen and John Legend lost their third child, “Jack” just over halfway into the pregnancy. Now, it appears that the couple are planning to have another child via surrogacy.
Losing a child is no easy tragedy to deal with. Chrissy Teigen made her whole experience public to help other women deal with the trauma of pregnancy loss. The model asked her husband John Legend and mother to take photos during her stillbirth delivery ‘no matter how uncomfortable it was’.
Not long afterwards, Teigen revealed she would be unable to carry a child again. “I love being pregnant, so so much, and I’m sad I never will be again,” Chrissy said. Teigen expressed gratitude for her other two children, daughter Luna, five, and son Miles, three, both of whom were conceived via IVF.
Now, Teigen is planning to have another baby. She took to the app’s Stories on Friday to share a photo of needles and capsules from a medical facility that could suggest she’s having an egg retrieval procedure. Teigen captioned ‘Here we go again.’ adding a GIF of a pink crying uterus to the photo.
Just last year, the cook book author told People “I just think of it in terms of how blessed I am already, and also there are so many ways to have a child nowadays … whether it’s surrogacy or adoption.” Chrissy is surely an amazing mother she constantly shares her experiences as a mother on social media. We hope everything goes well for Chrissy Teigen.
