Ariana Grande Stuns In Bubblegum Pink Dress At Wicked On Broadway

Ariana Grande is finally getting the acting roles she deserves. The Wicked movie is an adaption of its Broadway musical of the same name. It takes an alternate look at the much memorable land of Oz.

Back in November, Ari and Tony-winning, Oscar-nominated singer-actress Cynthia Erivo announced that they will be starring opposite each other in the highly anticipated film adaptation of the smash Broadway musical “Wicked.” Ari will be playing Glinda the Good Witch. And Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba will play the role of the Wicked Witch of the West.

In a gravity defying moment, Ariana Grande attended Wicked on Broadway last night in New York city. Ari attending the Broadway musical goes on to show how dedicated she is for her upcoming role. Wicked the movie is currently in development, with production set to start in summer 2022 in the UK.

Ariana was spotted leaving the performance in a strapless satin top and matching bubble gum pink coat, which slid down her arms casually. The pop star walked about in her fluffy sandals whilst keeping it casual with light blue jeans. She also gave a personal shoutout to Brittney Johnson (Glinda) and Lindsay Heather Pearce (Elphaba) in her Instagram story after the show.

The movie will be directed by Jon M. Chu (director of “Now You See Me 2” “Crazy Rich Asians”). Wicked focuses on the friendship between its two main female characters, Elphaba and Glinda, highlighting the importance of healthy and mutual female support systems. The timeline is before the events of The Wizard Of Oz.
