Britney Spears has fascinated the hearts of music fans and celebrity gossip junkies for years. Spears’ long conservatorship was filled with wild twists and turns that kept the “Toxic” singer from any sort of reasonable independence. The chains are now off and Britney is ready to tell her side of the story.
Page Six revealed that Britney Spears has signed a major deal to write a tell-all book. Simon & Schuster ultimately landed the contract. The deal will be worth about $15 million to Britney.
It is the second-largest book deal ever signed behind Barack and Michelle Obama. The rights to their story went for over $60 million. Former president Bill Clinton inked a similar publishing contract for 2001’s “My Life.”
Britney has been hoping to write an autobiography ever since little sister Jamie Lynn Spears wrote, “Things I Should Have Said.” Jamie Lynn’s book has been refuted by Britney since the day it was published. Spears intends to take control of her narrative.
Britney teased the project on Instagram recently. Spears said she had a vault of stories that she couldn’t wait to share with the world. Brit prayed for the lord to have mercy on her family’s souls when she did.
The deal is now down and Britney Spears is ready to take off the gloves. Spears has been working on the book since January. Britney’s loyal fans can’t wait until she spills the dirt on what has been a wild ride.
