2K sports has been putting up a lot of work for their upcoming WWE 2K22 release. Of course, they have to because the previous installment in the series was a disaster. One of the most anticipated features of the 2K22 is the ability to play general manager again. Something that hasn’t been an option since the Smackdown vs. Raw series.
WCCFTech reports that MyGM concept is almost 15 years old now, and the early hands-on reviews very well show that WWE 2K22’s MyGM is still lot similar to the old one with a bit of additional features of it’s own.
For MyGM mode, players can begin by choosing a GM (general manager) from the options of Shane McMahon, Sonia Deville, William Regal (my choice), and more. All of which have their own unique bonuses. After that you have to choose at least 8 stars superstars to draft.
Then you have to boost the power of stars in your roster. The more you enhance your roster’s total power, the more fans you attract. And that’s the goal, to put on a better show compared to your rival. One of the most interesting parts of this feature is that you can’t craft your own storylines or decide who is going to win and who is going to lose.
Finally, the mode focuses on putting quality matches and each of the wrestlers available are categorized into following categories.
Giant
Cruiser
Bruiser
Fighter
Specialist
WWE 2k22 releases on March 11th PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The pre-order for the game is live, and those who order the deluxe edition will get it early on March 8th.
