Eminem is, without a doubt, one of the greatest hip-hop artists in the world. He’s synonymous with dominating charts, as he has done throughout his career. Soon after being nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, he quickly rose to the top 5 and ahead. He eventually reached number 1 by beating the rest of the nominees on the list.
The 49-year-old rapper has led the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame voting for days until now. Presently, Em lost that spot to Duran Duran, shifting Eminem to number 2. Stans aren’t going to like this one.
When Slim Shady was nominated for the chart, he went from No. 8 to No. 4 in a matter of a couple of days and didn’t him long to claim the number spot where he stayed for days and probably will go back there again as voting ballots are still open.
Eminem could very well be the next inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame if fans keep voting, and there’s no doubt that Em’s fanbase is widespread on the entire planet.
As of writing this, the gap between Eminem and Duran Duran for the No.1 spot is extremely slim. If you want Em to stay at no.1 position till the ballot closes on April 29, don’t forget to cast your daily vote at vote.rockhall.com.
