For quite a while now, Jake Paul has been fighting for the rights of UFC fighters when it comes to getting paid a fair wage for putting their bodies on the line. Jake Paul had previously blasted Dana White over UFC not paying their fighters properly. It seems Jake Paul has clowned Dana White once again, this time over UFC jacking up their price.
For several months, Jake Paul has taken shots at Dana White and there are no signs of him stopping. Dana White recently fired back at Jake Paul by stating that Paul is only starting a fight with him to get noticed and that he has a short shelf life. Paul would then clown Dana White in a huge way.
Jake Paul has heavily criticized Dana White over UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou’s current contract situation in the UFC. The Problem Child went all out to promote an anti-Dana White hashtag.
While speaking on his YouTube Channel, UFC Heavyweight Champion talked about Jake Paul fighting for UFC fighters getting better payment. Ngannou made it clear he is in full agreement with what Jake Paul has been doing.
I’m 100 percent with him for what he says. Like when he claims [he’s] for fighter health care, I’m 100 percent down with that. When he [claims he’s] for fighter pay increase, I’m 1,000 percent down for that. Fighters are not protected. Fighters are all out there on their own, and nobody looks out for them.
Like, I walk around the gym sometimes and you will see a fighter, maybe he just lost a fight, and then he’s training and he’ll get an injury — he will take this injury and just hope that he heals, because he can’t afford the treatment, knowing that he’s doing this for a living. He has a contract and all this stuff. It’s tough to watch [that] stuff and to think that it’s normal. No, it’s not normal. They’re putting their body on the line for something. At least [give them] health care.”
The CEO of Bellator also recently made it clear he wants to sign Francis Ngannou. We will have to wait and see if Francis Ngannou will truly leave the UFC to join Bellator or not.
