Kanye West has constantly thrown jabs at Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson for the past few weeks. Now the tables have turned as Pete took to Instagram and subtly took a shot at Kanye West.
Pete Davidson recently re-joined Instagram after taking a long break from social media. He hasn’t posted yet on his account but has added a YouTube video link in the bio. Clicking the link takes you to a video of Rupert King saying “Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime.”
As usual, fans didn’t waste time to come to conclusion on the whole situation. Some fans believed the clip was a message for Kanye, who has been targeting Kim and Pete in numerous social media posts. While the YouTube video was initially posted in 2016, numerous fans took to the comments section to discuss Pete’s response to the rapper.
One person wrote: “Jokes aside, Pete is handling this with class. Ye keeps punching himself.” Another added: “Honestly, drama aside (well, drama from one side) this is how you handle situations. Some people will do anything to get what they want or who they think they own.” A third chimed in: “I’ll always love Kanye but he definitely is handling this poorly and Pete is being a real man about it.”
Kanye has repeatedly attacked Pete over his relationship with his ex-wife, which lately has been primarily on Instagram. In one post, Kanye called Pete a “d**khead” and accused him of “destroying” their family. Kanye also threatened to “beat Pete’s a**” and declared “war” on him while posting several memes about him and his peers.
It’s really hard to get to conclusions based on the speculation but amid everything, this might be a very well thought hunch by the fans. Pete has always kept it classy and never replied to Ye’s antics by doing anything noteworthy, however, this could be a start.
