Tom Brady is arguably one of the greatest football players in the history of the sport. Brady’s time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was always a huge topic of discussion as the quarterback would play at a remarkable rate despite being 44 years old right now
Back in September last year, Tom Brady even went so far as to say that he can play until he is 50 years of age, which certainly made fans wonder whether he can maintain that level of condition for 6 more years.
After a lot of back and forth and ruminating, Tom Brady finally came to a decision of announcing his retirement from professional football. According to Hollywood Life, Tom Brady might not be retired for long as there is “without question a chance for him to return,” especially to win one more Super Bowl ring.
”When he mentioned ‘never say never’ on a return, it is more than just words. Tom is going to monitor the NFL off-season with a fine-tooth comb because if the pieces fall into place, he’d be interested in returning.
He’d be interested in joining a team who are close to winning a Super Bowl, like the San Francisco 49ers. Once free agency starts and if he wanted to return, he would have to convince Tampa Bay to trade him because they currently hold his playing rights.
So, in the next few months if more things will fall into place, it is something that people should believe until about July. If he doesn’t come back by then, then retirement may really stick, but there is without question a chance for him to return.”
Tom Brady will continue to be involved in sports after retiring as well. We wonder if he will decide to come back for one last run or not as fans would love to see him compete again.
