Halyna Hutchins was killed on the set of Rust, and Alec Baldwin was holding the gun when it went off. The big question is whether he was holding the trigger. Halyna Hutchins’ widow certainly things Baldwin is at fault.
Halyna Hutchins’ widow, Matt Hutchins, spoke to NBC’s Today Show where he had a lot to say. This came after Alec Baldwin sat down with ABC News for his own interview segment.
Matt said that Baldwin is at fault, and he’s very unhappy about how Baldwin was portrayed in that interview. The 30 Rock star denied playing any part in that death and this is not setting well with Matt at all.
“I was just so angered to see him talk about her death so publicly in such a detailed way. Then to not accept any responsibility after just described killing her.”
Matt then said that “the idea of that the man holding the gun when it was discharged” is not responsible is “absurd” to him. There were also serval other problems with the production when he came to safety. We will have to see how the lawsuit plays out as Alec Baldwin is a defendant.
