Kodak Black is one of rap’s most enigmatic characters. On one hand, he is becoming somewhat of a family man. The flipside reveals a history of trouble with the law for various reasons. One major play in the industry just can’t get enough of Kodak.
Drake recently said that Kodak Black was the greatest rapper of this generation. Fans vehemently disagreed. Drizzy just has a soft spot for Kodak.
On his visit with The Breakfast Club, Kodak talked about his relationship with Drake. Black said that Drake recently sent him over a quarter-million dollars. The gift came in the form of Bitcoin.
“Drake and I do a lot behind the scenes talking and sh*t. I ain’t tell nobody this, but the other week that n*gga sent me a quarter-million dollars, for no reason. Me and my brother Lance, we in the car and this n*gga text me like, ‘You got Bitcoin?’ I was like, ‘Nah.’ He was like, ‘Set up a Bitcoin wallet.’ So I’m putting two and two together, that’s four!”
Drake has been a huge proponent of cryptocurrency. The Toronto rapper has frequently announced huge bets on sporting events via a particular crypto betting app. It is not known if Drake has a business relationship with the platform.
It sounds like Drake is now trying to get Kodak Black involved in the cryptocurrency game. Many rappers have found themselves in trouble after getting involved with scams. Kodak trusts Drake to not lead him down the wrong path in what has become a very volatile investment market.
