Jenna Jameson has returned home after her two month hospital stay. The adult film star initially went to get checked as she had become unable to walk. Despite being discharged now she is still in a wheelchair.
Doctors are still puzzled about her diagnosis as she waits for details regarding her condition to be explained. Initially, Doctors believed she had Guillain-Barre Syndrome, which turned out to be incorrect after weeks of testing.
Jameson, 47, took to her Instagram on Tuesday to post a story that said she was just resting at home waiting for doctors to figure out what happened to her.
“I still have more testing to do but it seems there’s something off with my femoral nerve, and it’s affecting my strength in my legs,” she said. “So I am still in a wheelchair, unfortunately, but I hope to be out of the wheelchair soon and walking, so say a little prayer.”
In addition to losing her ability to walk, she suffered weeks of vomiting. On her Instagram story, Jameson also went on to show a bit of movement in her legs as she revealed her “quad strength is really, really, really weak, and as you can see, I have some atrophy happening.”
“My legs are incredibly skinny,” she continued. “But don’t get too alarmed, because my legs have always been ultra skinny. So don’t judge me. We will be back to the best soon!,” Jameson added in her Instagram post
As doctors search for answers regarding Jameson’s condition, it is widely believed among the team of her physicians that the issue could be with her femoral nerve, the largest nerve in the leg that controls the hip and knee muscles.
