Julia Fox has made it clear that she is not cutting ties with Diesel. Josh Safdie’s muse, who broke her whirlwind romance with Kanye West last week, sat front row. She was rocking a yellow leather jacket and matching “pantashoes” over a black latex bandeau and gloves at Diesel’s runway presentation in Milan on Wednesday.
She ditched the contentious smoky eye makeup she wore with West during Paris Fashion Week, where the former pair donned similar denim and leather ensembles, in favor of black lipstick and white eyeliner. Despite the fact that the “Uncut Gems” actress, 32, attended Diesel’s show alone, the brand played an important role in her and West’s relationship.
During their second date, the rapper, 44, famously filled an entire hotel room with $100,000 worth of Diesel clothing, allowing Fox to pick whatever she wanted from the racks. It’s unknown whether Fox’s black-and-yellow ensemble was one of the 40 Diesel looks Ye wore to their meeting last month.
Fox credited her front-row beauty look to famed makeup artist Pat McGrath. Though West’s fashion impact on Fox is undeniable, she has a history with Diesel, having been in the brand’s fall 2020 ad alongside “Gossip Girl” star Evan Mock.
Fox made her runway debut at the LaQuan Smith fashion show in New York earlier this month. Perhaps she’ll be seen in Milan with one of the Birkin bags West gave her for her birthday. Check out Julia Fox’s Diesel show look below.
