Hannah Lee Fowler, Sam Hunt’s estranged wife, dropped her divorce petition against him the same day she filed it. Fowler filed her initial complaint at 11:43 a.m., only to file a Notice of Voluntary Nonsuit less than three hours later, at 2:13 p.m., in what appears to be a new record.
Hannah Lee Fowler filed legal documents to dissolve her marriage to Sam on Friday, citing infidelity as well as the fact that she was pregnant and sought primary custody of their child expected in May. She had also requested child and spousal support.
Per the docs, the “Body Like a Back Road” singer “is guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct toward the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe or improper.”
However, the next day, she filed a paper stating that the divorce petition was “voluntarily nonsuited without prejudices.” She’s withdrawing the divorce lawsuit, but she’s retaining the right to re-file in the future. Sam Hunt and Hannah Lee Fowler married back in 2017.
They started dating when Sam was a quarterback at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. They married almost 5 years ago and had been together for years before that. The filing had still to be approved by a judge, but that was merely a formality.
