David Eason has been very active on social media, especially on TikTok. He shares about his daily life like cooking, what he’s up to, and more. He recently made headlines after he posted a seemingly nude picture of Jenelle Evans on Instagram. After claiming that his daughter Maryssa lied in court, David Eason was accused of gaslighting her in 2019.
The same year, child protective services investigated David and Jenelle Evans after allegations of child abuse surfaced. In 2019, all three children–Maryssa, Kaiser, and Ensely–were taken from their home for a short time before being released once the investigation was completed.
Just recently, one user published a video featuring David Eason to kick off a Reddit discussion. David was apparently being abusive to his daughter Maryssa and fans were there to flame him. The headline of the discussion read: David is a rilly good Dad!
A Redditor said: “This is so heartbreaking and confusing for a child. Legit question, what is the actual difference between somebody saying they’re just “being loud” versus yelling? I feel like this is some thing that people say to justify their potential abusive behavior. 🧐”
Another stated: “It’s giving Alec Baldwin.”
A third person chimed in, saying: “Laughing at the fact that your daughter is scared of you is sick. She’s old enough to know what’s going on and she knows that she was yelled at. Kids don’t get that upset for no reason.”
A commentator pointed out: “This is one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever seen from this franchise. Poor Maryssa found the courage to speak up about what was happening and no one listened to her. Then David records their conversation and posts it to the internet as if an abuser aggressively asking their CHILD how they’re being abused and the child crying their eyes out and struggling to answer is proof that he’s not abusive.”
