Tom Brady didn’t waste long to find a new pursuit after retiring from football. Brady is considered the greatest NFL player of all time by anybody who isn’t a complete hater. Tom announced that he was retiring from the game after this season. Fans wondered what TB would get into next.
Acting and producing a major motion picture probably wouldn’t have been most people’s first guess. That is exactly what Brady is getting into. Tom will produce and act in the upcoming movie, “80 for Brady.”
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that several big stars were attached to the project. Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Sally Field, and Rita Morena are teaming up with Brady on the new film. The Paramount flick will tell the story of a group of friends who attend the 2017 Super Bowl and undergo life-changing experiences along the way.
“Inspired by a true story, Brady tells of four best friends and New England Patriots fans who take a life-changing trip to the 2017 Super Bowl LI to see their quarterback hero, Tom Brady, play and the chaos that ensues as they navigate the wilds of the biggest sporting event in the country. Tomlin, Fonda, Moreno and Field will play the quartet.”
NFL fans remember that specific Super Bowl vividly. Tom Brady led the New England Patriots on a wild comeback. New England won the Vince Lombardi Trophy over the Atlanta Falcons, 34-28.
Production on the film is set to begin this spring. There is no release date as of yet. It sounds like an extremely interesting project that will have football and movie fans buzzing.
