Cardi B established herself as one of the best female rappers in the Hip Hop world and her music has reached people all over the globe. She has also used her influence recently to speak on matters that affect the world explicitly. The WAP rapper took to Twitter and addressed the tension between Russia and Ukraine. She was also a bit blown away by how that tweet blew up.
Just a couple of days back, Cardi shed light on the power hungry leaders of the world. She went vocal about the fact that these leaders should focus on the citizens who are getting affected and not on the war, sanctions and invasions. Cardi B re-tweeted the same today as the Russian-Ukraine conflict is getting worse.
After saying that she wishes the two countries would get along, the tweet went viral. Upon seeing that her tweet was trending big, Cardi B voiced her surprise.

Fans were glad to see Cardi B voicing her opinion on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Cardi has a history of making political comments, most notably in an online spat with Candace Owens in 2020. The latter referred to the Grammy-winning rapper as ‘illiterate’ and an ’embarrassment’ to black people.
The Russian military has destroyed 74 Ukrainian military facilities, including 11 air bases, a report said quoting Russia’s Defense Ministry on Thursday. Just like Cardi B, more celebrities need to come forward and speak up about the ongoing crisis before more innocent people get caught in the collateral damage.
