Amanda Bynes has filed to terminate both the conservatorship of her person and her estate after nearly nine years. As we reported earlier, she filed her documents on Wednesday. In the midst of this, Bynes is now trending on Twitter.

This move by Bynes comes after Britney Spears has done the same thing, with many now believing that the 35-year old former actress was inspired by Spears. As you may Bynes went into a conservative arrangement with her mother in 2013.

The arrangement led her mother, Lynn Bynes gain complete legal control over her affairs in person, medical or financial capacities. But it seems those days are ending now. The Nickelodeon star might finally be able to enjoy her freedom.

This move has garnered a lot of praise from those on Twitter. With many users applauding her for finally taking this step towards her freedom. The hashtag #freeAmanda can be seen with all the tweets and posts pertaining this.
