D.A. Issues New Statement On Megan Thee Stallion & Tory Lanez Case

Tory Lanez has been in some hot water ever since the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case. There is quite a bit of back and forth between both parties regarding the actual incident. Now the D.A. has come up with new statements on the case.

According to HipHopDX, a statement has been made by the D.A. which can make the case lean towards Megan. The prosecutors are said to have an ample amount of evidence to support the assault charge against Lanez. There has been no clear indication previously to conclude the case, however, this could be crucial.

“Although we are legally prohibited from commenting on the evidence and will continue to abide by that obligation, our office is under an ethical duty to only proceed on charges which we believe can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt and which have already been upheld by a judge after presentation of evidence at the preliminary hearing,” the statement read. “We believe the evidence substantially supports the charges and allegations and that evidence will be borne out in court.”

This all started as DJ Akademiks reported that Lanez’s DNA wasn’t found on the weapon used to shoot Megan. The W.A.P rapper stated that that wasn’t true and DNA evidence wasn’t introduced during the hearing. She was backed up by some reporters from the New York Post and Rolling Stone.

Tory Lanez has recently taken to his socials and shared celebratory posts of his eventual win in the case. Megan however has not backed off and fired back with her narrative on the matter. Both of them have verbally accused one another on social media, making it hard to decipher the truth.

Fans have had it hard as some supported their favorite artist and believed that they are the victim, While some others are still waiting for a conclusion so that they can pick sides based on the result of the trial. All this chitter-chatter has led the D.A. to intervene and here we stand.

Speculations will always be out of hand in a case like this, but we have to wait and see what bears for both parties until the next hearing.
