Kim Kardashian Wants Nothing To Do With Kanye West Beyond Co-Parenting

Kim Kardashian is ready to put her marriage to Kanye “Ye” West behind her. In February 2021, the 41-year-old reality star filed for divorce from the father of her four children, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, but the divorce is still pending.

A source told ET that Kim is ready to move on with her life after stating in recent court records that she “very much desire to be divorced.” Kardashian is exhausted by West’s drama, according to the insider. Kanye’s back and forth has been really taxing and frustrating for her.

“Kim has been continuing to focus on herself, her children, family, and her work. The back and forth with Kanye has been incredibly draining and upsetting for her,” the source said. “She has been trying to move on with her life and take care of herself, and Kanye’s actions have made it difficult to do so. Kim only wants a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kanye and other than that, she doesn’t want anything to do with him right now.”

Kim filed court documents in December to be declared single and reclaim her maiden name. She is currently awaiting approval from a court and expects to hear back at a hearing next month. The rapper indicated that he wants his assets to be protected first, something his estranged wife is said to have already refused.

She has been attempting to move on with her life and care for herself, but Kanye’s actions have made this tough. On Wednesday, Kardashian submitted additional court documents in which she explained to the Court why she wants to be proclaimed legally single as soon as possible.
