Kodak Black Explains How Relationship With Master P Went Sour

Master P has many contacts in the music industry through his veteran career, but he is apparently not very close to the Super Gremlin himself.

Kodak Black recently chopped it up with Yung Joc and The Streetz Morning. He was asked about his relationship with Master P. This is when he explained how hi relationship with Master P went sour.

Shawty stated that, “We interviewed Master P and he spoke on your relationship and he said that he wanted to step in and try to mentor you but he got a cold shoulder”. He then asked Kodak, “Can you tell us from your end what that was like”. However, Kodak remembers things differently.

The Trump-pardoned rapper stated that he never gave Master P the cold shoulder and that they did try to work together. After P reached out, Kodak went down to New Orleans to take part in some philanthropic efforts involving children. The veteran rapper wanted to mentor Kodak but allegedly for a price.

Kodak explained that P was trying to get in his business. He says that less than a month after hanging around Master P, the No Limit founder started asking for a 10-20% commission on unspecified things. Kodak also claimed that Master P tried to get Kodak to sign a contract.

The final straw in their relationship came over a backpack giveaway. Kodak wanted to do a giveaway for kids but P didn’t want to give the kids name brand backpacks or cater the event. At that point, Kodak started taking care of those details himself rather than working with P.

Kodak states that he eventually hosted the event by himself and extended an invite to P but he never showed up.
