Russia’s invasion of Ukraine started early February 24th and is still continuing. Ever since the reports of the battle hit headlines many known people have come out and expressed their disapproval for it. The infamous group of hackers known as Anonymous has joined in on the cyber attack against Russia.
As we reported earlier, the infamous hacker group hacked the Russian Military communications by interfering with the medium. That meant a major blow to the ongoing Russian operation.
A new report from Twitter verified account for Investigative reporter Ryan Gallagher posted that the Anonymous have hacked Putin’s private luxury Yacht. The Yacht is reportedly worth $97 million and is ironically named “Graceful”
Putin reportedly has a $97 million luxury yacht called “Graceful”. A group of Anonymous hackers on Saturday figured out a way to mess with maritime traffic data & made it look like the yacht had crashed into Ukraine’s Snake Island, then changed its destination to “hell”
The report was supplied with two pictures backing it up. The tweet was then quote tweeted by the Anonymous account, with the quote “Putin’s yacht was hijacked. #Anonymous” Not only that but their attempts have also led Russian Government take their official website down.
As the war between the two countries goes on Cyber communities from around the world are trying to contribute to the same efforts that the infamous group is attempting.
Anonymous also took down Russia’s official government website. So, anyone who likes to cruise the great reads on there will be disappointed.
