Kanye West is apparently a big fan of Soulja Boy. In fact, Ye considers Soulja Boy to be one of the top five most influential rappers of our generation. Today Soulja took to Twitter and offered Ye huge praise.
Soulja had an attitude towards Ye in the past for removing his verse from his Donda album. Soulja had hard feelings against Chicago native rapper as Kanye referred to this verse as “trash” on a Drink Champs podcast.
This one-sided feud didn’t last that long as Ye apologized soon, and Soulja was happy with the apology. Even after that, Soulja blamed Kanye for getting removed from other artists’ songs.
Despite all that, the two are on good terms. Soulja was back in the studio with Kanye for the recently released Donda 2. The album was exclusively released on Ye’s Stem player last week. The release was partial, meaning more to the album will be seen soon.
Soulja Boy took to Twitter today and expressed his gratitude for getting time with Mr. West in the studio. Kanye gave him a feature on Donda 2, and Soulja is very grateful for it. Soulja wrote the following on his Twitter post.
Kanye pushed me to another level on Donda 2. We need to collab more he inspiring 🏆
Kanye is reportedly working on a new project with Beach House, although it remains unclear whether it is a new project or a different version of Donda 2.
