There is no doubt that Conor McGregor remains one of the most talked-about and highly controversial fighters in the history of the MMA world. He has competed against the best of the best the sport has to offer. It seems Dana White commented on the possibility of a huge fight as well.
This includes his highly lauded fights against Nate Diaz, as the two faced off against each other on two occasions at UFC 196 and UFC 202. They both have one victory over the other.
For a long time, many fans have been wondering whether the two will face off in a third fight and complete their trilogy together. Even Conor McGregor himself said a third fight must happen.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, UFC President Dana White admitted that he would be shocked if a third fight between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz does not happen.
“We’re still working on [the Diaz-Poirier] fight. That fight’s not done yet. I wouldn’t count out a Conor-Nate 3. Listen, I’d be shocked if that fight didn’t happen again.”
We will have to wait and see when Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz will duke it out in their third fight together in the future as the rivalry between the two is unlikely to end anytime soon.
