Kodak Black’s recent music video “Super Gremlin” was quite the hit and he is still determined to carry that momentum in 2022. The Trump-pardoned rapper reached a huge milestone for his biggest song.
The track has been on the Billboard Hot 100 chart’s Top 5 and according to the Recording Industry Association of America, it went platinum on Feb 25.
The Florida rapper provided a second life by throwing “Super Gremlin” on the album “Back For Everything” after first landing on the sniper gang’s editorial project. After his recent solo venture failed to achieve sales of 20,000 out of 20,000 albums, BFE appears ready to make a lofty debut on the Billboard 200.
“Back For Everything” is currently close to selling the equivalent of 60,000 albums in its first week, according to the Hits Daily Double, with Kodak Black taking second place on the Billboard 200, behind Disney’s Encanto soundtrack.
Kodak Black recently signed Atlantic Records and he is evidently satisfied with his decision and how they have been supporting him through various legal problems
The 60,000 mark would be Kodak Black’s third-best-selling record in its first week, behind Dying to Live in 2018 and Painting Pictures in 2017.
Kodak also released his “Midas Touch” video on Wednesday.
