Farrah Forke starred on the hit NBC sitcom “Wings” from seasons four through six. Forke played helicopter pilot Alex Lambert in the series that followed the exploits of a New England airport. Farrah has sadly passed away at the age of 54.

A family friend confirmed the news to Variety. Farrah passed away due to cancer. Forke made many excellent contributions to the world of television.

Wings was the most notable of the shows to feature Farrah Forke. The actress is also known for her appearances on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Ned & Stacey, Party of Five, and several film credits.

Farrah was also an accomplished voice actor. Forke provided the voice for Big Barda on Batman Beyond and Justice League Unlimited. Many fans may not know her name, but they have certainly appreciated her work.

Farrah was born in Texas in 1968. Once she grew up, she moved to New York to pursue acting. Farrah studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Her career was placed on pause when she decided to become a mother.

Farrah Forke leaves behind two sons, her mother, and her stepfather along with three sisters. The world lost one of television’s hidden gems today. Our thoughts go out to the grieving family in this difficult time.
