Drake is a well-known rapper in the hip-hop world right now. He has a multitude of interests outside of music, including extending his businesses and his estate. Fans should be glad to know that Drake has purchased a Beverly crest mansion for $70 Million.
The OVO rapper has bought a mega-mansion in Los Angeles’ Beverly Crest neighborhood in an off-market deal that is likely to close for more than $70 million. According to the Los Angeles Times, the Tuscan-style estate was originally held by singer-songwriter Robbie Williams, who bought it from Guess co-founder Armand Marciano for $32.7 million in 2015. Williams apparently hoped to sell the home for about $85 million.
Drake’s new Benedict Canyon home is a 25,000-square-foot main house with ten bedrooms and 22 bathrooms. Outdoor grounds include a tennis court, mosaic-tiled pool, and orchard, as well as an 11-car garage, wine cellar, gym, game room, screening room, and elevator.
Drake now has plenty of room to entertain, since the trophy estate is larger than any other home currently on the market in the 90210 zip code, spanning over 20 acres. Drake had previously been renting a $65 million Beverly Hills house. In addition to the iconic “YOLO Estate” in Hidden Hills, which he purchased in 2012 for $7.7 million, the 6 God’s real estate portfolio also includes a 50,000-square-foot mansion in his hometown of Toronto.
The Weeknd, a fellow Canadian, bought his own $70 million property in nearby Bel-Air in an off-market deal in August. Now Drake is the owner of this grand luxurious mansion. Congratulations to the rapper. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
