Travis Barker Extends His Help To Ex Shanna Moakler During Her Pregnancy

Travis Barker already shares two children with Shanna Moakler and says he has her back. As she’s the mother of his children he knows she’s always going to be in his life and wants ‘the best for her.’

He is proving to be quite the gentleman trying to show support to his ex Shanna Moakler when she revealed that she is expecting her fourth child soon after her ex-boyfriend Matthew Rondeau was arrested for domestic violence.

“Travis has reached out to Shanna and congratulated her,” a source told Hollywood Life. “He let her know that he’ll be there for whatever she needs. Whether it be picking up some groceries, helping out more with the kids, Travis has her back.” According to what the source revealed, Travis wants to stay out of Shanna and Matthew’s business and “hasn’t asked too many questions about the situation.”

Travis and Shanna split in 2008 after they were married for four years. For now, he wants to be supportive and wants to help her as much as he can.

“He assumes she’ll open up about it more when she wants to, but he let her know he’s there for her. Travis knows Shanna is an adult and very independent, but she’ll always be in his life and still wants the best for her at the end of the day,” the source added.

“I took a pregnancy test and it is positive,” on March 3, Shanna revealed in an interview with People. “This has been a very difficult week, but I’m taking everything day by day.” 

Just this previous week, Matthew was taken into custody in Los Angeles and charged with domestic violence. A fight broke into Shanna and Matthew. “I wanted to let everybody know that I’m okay and thank you for your love and support,” Shanna said in a statement couple of hours later. “I’m surrounded by my family and friends.”

Soon after that, Matthew had shared an Instagram video where he accused Shanna of cheating on him with their neighbor. The clip has now been removed from his social media.

“So, it’s over. I am never talking to this f***ing specimen of a f***ing human again, Matthew could be heard screaming in that video. “Quote me on it. You’re never going to see me with this f***ing—- again. I don’t give a f***. I’ve never been so disrespected, or so f***ing humiliated in my entire life.” After publicly humiliating Shanna on social media, he shared that he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Shanna and Matthew kept going on and off with their relationship in 2020. After they broke up, (what almost felt like the final one) they reunited again in October 2021. Shanna also shares a daughter with boxer Oscar De La Hoya.

Travis is now engaged to Kourtney Kardashian. So, this is not an attempt for Barker to get back with his ex, but it is a sign that he’s a stand-up guy.
