Aaron Rodgers is getting ready for the 2022 NFL season. The future Hall of Famer doesn’t know where he’ll be playing just yet. Rodgers has been the topic of a lot of offseason speculation about where he will suit up next season.
There has been interest from plenty of teams who are scrambling for an experienced quarterback. Most would get a huge upgrade with Aaron Rodgers. Many teams are probably concerned about the baggage he brings.
Rodgers is in the unique position to be able to choose where he wants to go. The Denver Broncos are the latest team to show interest. Denver has also taken a shine to Pitt quarterback Kenny Picket, who, despite his controversial hand size, appears to be the #1 available QB in the draft. Ian Rappaport of the NFL Network said Denver is the most likely spot if Rodgers doesn’t stay in Green Bay.
“The forth has always been the Denver Broncos. Ever since the Aaron Rodgers rumors started, the Denver Broncos has always been the potential trade location. I’m not saying anything is happening right now.
It doesn’t seem like the Packers have entertained any trade thoughts at all. But in Rodgers’ mind, if he was not in Green Bay, it seems that (Denver) would be the other spot he’d want to be.”
The team that signs Aaron Rodgers will be getting a world-class QB. They will also have to deal with Aaron’s politics and controversy. One franchise or another will surely think it’s worth the inconvenience.
