Bill Edwards, CEO of Regenix told TMZ that McConaughey has been a customer of the hair ointment brand since 1999. It wasn’t until he gave the company a shoutout on the ‘Late Show’ in 2001 that it began to see a huge uptick of customers from all over the world.
McConaughey’s star status increased the demand to a point where the company had to initiate a new mail-order program for potential International clients. Under this new system, people would send over their hair samples and Regenix designed a tailored plan to regrow hair.
