Kyler Murray has been facing controversy this offseason that he didn’t sign up for. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback has been accused of being unhappy with the team. Rumors have swirled that Murray is trying to get out.
Kyler has stated a few times that he wants to win a championship in Arizona. The rumors of his unhappiness nonetheless persisted. A teammate has now come to Kyler Murray’s defense.
Wide receiver Christian Kirk talked to TMZ Sports. Kirk said he loves Kyler Murray. Christian claimed that there are no issues whatsoever with the quarterback.
“He’s a great friend of mine and he’s always treated me well and teammates around him well. Every time he steps on the field, he wants to win.”
Kyler Murray recently deleted all of the Arizona Cardinals-related photos from his Instagram, further sparking the rumors. Reports have also surfaced that the Cardinals front office is unhappy with the results they’re getting from the young QB. Christian Kirk thinks the team should have already signed Murray to a contract extension.
Christian Kirk will become a free agent later this month. His time with Kyler Murray may be over regardless of if Murray stays. Time will tell what Arizona decides to do about their controversial quarterback situation.
