DaBaby’s name has been dragged through the mud after making a controversial and homophobic statement at Rolling Loud in Miami last year. Since then the rapper has somehow managed to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. It seems he has been banned after his most recent actions as well
As reported earlier, DaBaby engaged in fisticuffs with DaniLeigh’s older brother Brandon Bills at a bowling alley. DaniLeigh’s brother had been looking for a fight with the rapper for a long time but he got more than he bargained for.
Naturally, DaBaby was dragged for beating up DaniLeigh’s brother. DaBaby was also banned from that particular bowling alley as well. According to TMZ, the L.A. County D.A. has rejected the gun case against DaBaby that police have been working on since January of last year.
DaBaby was arrested in Beverly Hills for allegedly having a weapon on him while he was still shopping. The case was ultimately dropped due to lack of evidence, which became apparent from the D.A.’s report recounting the incident. DaBaby’s attorney, Drew Findling also commented on the drop.
“We’ve been 100% confident in Mr. Kirk’s innocence since the day of this incident and are appreciative that the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has made a similar determination.”
However, he could still get booked for the bowling alley brawl as there is a much stronger chance that case could actually get some real consideration by the D.A.’s Office. It was said that a felony assault with a deadly weapon charge is very much in play.
However, it was also stated that police officers are skeptical on that case as well due to D.A. George Gascon, who is not interested in pursuing low-level crimes in and around Los Angeles. We will keep you updated on this ongoing case.
