Billie Eilish is certainly one of the most attention-grabbing singers in the music industry right now. At only 20 years of age, she has dominated the competition and her songs have been chart-toppers for a long time now. She also loves changing up her look from time to time.
Billie Eilish performed in her first tour since 2020 last month as she performed in New Orleans. It was the first night of her Happier Than Ever world tour and it is safe to say fans had an absolute blast.
Billie Eilish also provided the main theme song for Daniel Craig’s final James Bond Film, No Time To Die. Producers for the film approached Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell to compose the song for the film beforehand.
While speaking to Variety, Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell talked about composing the theme song for the film. Eilish also revealed that they were already familiar with the nuances of Bond theme music and would often “pretend to” write Bond themes long before they were approached.
“We for years we have wanted to write a Bond song, like sometimes we would like to pretend to and come up with chords that felt like Bond. And we would literally do this way before it was a thing, even a real thing that we would ever do.”
Billie Eilish’s contribution to the Bond franchise helped her bag a Grammy award and helped her set her first-ever number-one single in the UK as well. Eilish is happy about her contribution and that is what matters in the end.
