DaBaby’s name has been dragged through the mud after making a controversial and homophobic statement at Rolling Loud in Miami last year. DaBaby previously posted a half-hearted apology for his harmful and insensitive remarks as he took to Instagram, but then he would go on to delete the post.
Due to this, he was subject to even more backlash from fans, who simply had no interest in forgiving him. He still didn’t learn his lesson as he called his critics crybabies.
DaBaby was brought on stage by 50 Cent during the recent Rolling Loud event. As reported earlier, an LGBTQ organization also forgave DaBaby for his previous remarks as they believed he has changed a lot since then.
NBA YoungBoy and DaBaby’s new collaborative album Better Than You dropped and has already been a hit with fans. while speaking DJ Whoo Kid for SiriusXM, DaBaby talked about his latest collaborative album. DaBaby bragged that the album is on the same level as the legendary Kanye West and Jay-Z collab album, Watch The Throne.
“When you talk about music and a body of work, ain’t been no collab project that’s f*ckin’ around with that since probably…” He takes a pause before saying, “You gotta go back to Watch The Throne. Jay-Z & Kanye type sh*t.”
The biggest criticism DaBaby has been facing is due to him sounding similar in all of his songs as of late. It is also likely many fans will crown DaBaby for even thinking of trying to compare his latest album to West and Jay-Z’s.
