Kanye West Posts Bizarre Poem About Death

Kanye West has been using social media to express his feelings a lot lately. First, Ye posted a poem about the pain caused by his divorce from Kim Kardashian. Kanye’s latest work is even more personal.

Ye posted the poem, entitled “Dead,” to his Instagram this morning. Along with the verse, Kanye West included an explanation. The explanation was that he was not going to explain.

“I feel already compromised that I have to justify my expression after over 20 years of art that I’ve contributed to the planet but I also see the need to make sure we as a species are allowed to still feel anything Men not allowed to cry celebrities not allowed to cry I will not explain this new piece for the explanation destroys the mystery and magic of true love and puts it in a box that can be counted

Art is subjective Art only works when it is the artist absolute truth Someone’s truth can be another persons lie We don’t all have to feel the same because we are not the same With out further ado I present to you my latest creation it is called DEAD”

Close inspection of the poem reveals that Kanye West is describing himself as dead. A later line in the story also refers to his “murderer’s story” that he read in a magazine. Kanye declined to name names, but fans can make their inferences.

Kanye West is a complicated figure. Who knows exactly what he is trying to accomplish with the recent rash of strange poetry. Maybe he’s just finally letting off some steam after his long and contentious divorce from Kim Kardashian.
