Nick Cannon has many successful ventures in his portfolio. The same cannot be said about his talk show. About six months ago, Nick Cannon made its premiere, and it felt like a good fit for the 41-year-old. Cannon was well received as the host of The Masked Singer; it was expected his talk show would be a huge success.
Although the show’s staff is yet to be notified, the Nick Cannon Show has been canceled. according to The Sun and Page Six.
However, there were rumors that many members of the staff had started looking for new employment opportunities as they were aware that the show was struggling. According to Page Six, there were talks for Cannon to permanently replace Wendy Williams, but after his show’s numbers, “the chatter went cold.”
Back in 2020, ViacomCBS briefly fired Cannon for making anti-Semitic remarks. He hosts “Wild ‘n’ Out there. However, after making a public apology for his anti-Jewish sentiments, he was soon rehired by the company.
Amidst the reports of the cancellation of his show, Cannon has not yet provided any confirmation on the veracity of these rumors.
