12-Year-Old Arrested For Robbing Jim Boeheim’s Wife At Gunpoint

This is a scary world and crime is not limited to just one age group. This is quite a sad story of a misguided youth. A 12-year-old boy has been arrested by the cops after they said that the boy robbed Jim Boeheim’s wife at gunpoint.

TMZ reports that Syracuse police say the boy took out an air gun and stuck it in Juli Boeheim’s face while she was seated inside her car at a shopping center in New York, on March 1.

The minor reached into Julie’s car and tried to grab her purse and later he took off in a stolen car with three other men, said the police. Cops say that the boy has been charged with robbery, grand larceny, and criminal possession of a weapon.

The boy’s name, however, has not been released due to his age.

Jim spoke about the incident on Brent Axe’s radio show on ESPN on March 3. He said Juli was “definitely shook up” because of what happened. “I mean, this isn’t television,” Jim said. “It’s not movies. It’s real life.”

Juli was seen in the stands cheering on Jim’s team while it played in the ACC Tournament.
