The cast of Real Housewives is often involved in some kind of drama. This time the drama is not just for the television but rather a serious one. RHOSLC’s Jen Shah has now released questionable merch ahead of her courtroom trial.
The reality recently star took to Instagram to give the world a first look at her collaboration with apparel company Rebel P Customs. The collection included T-shirts that spelled ‘#FreeJenShah’ t-shirts. Some tees even featured her face printed on them from the moment she was arrested by federal authorities.
The shirts range from $25 to $30 in price. The priciest item is a $120 bedazzled baseball jacket that reads: ‘Shahmazing’ on the back. Her RHOSLC co-star and frenemy Meredith Marks showed support for the line by commenting a red heart emoji under Shah’s latest post.
Jen Shah was allegedly involved in a $5 million nationwide telemarketing scheme. She has pled not guilty in her fraud case. It recently got a new trial date set for July 11, 2022, four months after it was supposed to kick off on March 22.
Last month, she filed to prevent prosecutors from using clips from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City at her fraud trial. The TV personality stated she does not want ‘any clips from the RHOSLC’ used as evidence in court. Her team noted the clips ‘would have to fall under one of the exceptions to the hearsay rule of evidence, as they are, by definition, out-of-court statements.’
The timing of the merch drop couldn’t be any more suspicious. However, these apparels are not going to do her any favor if winning the case is on her mind.
