White Men Can’t Jump, the iconic 1992 film is returning for a reboot. The 1992 film casted Wesley Snipes as Sidney “Syd” Deane, Woody Harrelson as Billy Hoyle and many more. New faces such as rapper Jack Harlow will be starring in the reboot film and Quavo also wants in.
Quavo’s ready to showcase his basketball skills. The rapper told TMZ Sports that the directors for the reboot of “White Men Can’t Jump” need to give him a chance. The rapper is eyeing on the role of Wesley Snipes.
TMZ caught up with the “Bad and Boujee” MC at LAX. This was after it was announced that fellow rapper Jack Harlow will be playing role of Billy Hoyle. Quavo said he’s dead serious about wanting to be cast in the movie alongside Harlow.
“I think they need to call me, so me and Jack Harlow can do it,” the rapper said. “I need to play Wesley Snipes’ role.” It will sure be iconic if Quavo gets the role.
White Men Can’t Jump is a new take on Ron Shelton’s 1992 sports comedy. In the 1992 film, Harlow’s character is a former basketball player who hustles street ballers as they assume he cannot play well. Quavo seems to think Jack will do well on set. He said that Jack Harlow’s amazing and can do everything.
