The war in Ukraine has got everyone on their toes. In this time of uncertainty and panic, the dissemination of accurate information becomes very important. TikTok has come to be one such platform of information.
Taking note of this, the administration wants to get its message to the top content creators on the platform. On Thursday afternoon, top 30 TikTok stars attended a zoom meeting to receive critical information pertaining the ongoing war.
National Security Council Staffers and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki briefed the content creators about the country’s strategic goals in the geopolitical region. They discussed the distribution of aid to Ukrainians, co-operation with NATO, and the United States’ response in the event of Russia using nuclear weapons.
