Katt Williams made a name for himself as a comedian and actor, and he is certainly a household name now. Unfortunately, Katt Williams had to recently cancel a show for an unexpected reason.
The veteran comedian recently had to cancel his Nashville show on Saturday night after the venue received a bomb threat. Williams was in Tennessee for his “World War III” Tour and mid-joke at the time.
TMZ reports that this went down just 10 minutes before his set was about to end. Someone on the crew informed Katt Williams about the bomb threat. Williams had a very difficult decision to make, because he could’ve told the fans about the threat or just let them walk away without smartening anyone up.
In order to avoid a situation similar to what happened at Astroworld last year, Katt Williams simply walked off the stage without explaining why. The venue was then cleared without incident.
There had been rumors of some sort of threat online, involving a bomb and gun. Police swept the venue but found no bomb. Thankfully. Williams did what he thought was the right thing to do and that is what matters in the end.
